Master Server List

I know there is problems with the master server but I have a quick question

My servers are using port 28961 and seems like most are using 28960

would that make a difference why its not showing up.

Shouldn't make a difference (a lot of game servers are using different ports on the same server), and, yes, there is an overall problem with the masters.

Basically that is why you use a master server (and to authenticate CD/DVD keys).

Your server phones home with the IP address and port, so when a client requests a list of servers, it then phones the master server and gets your IP and port number

Right now, their internal network or the switch at the front end of cod4master.activision.com is overloaded or miscongifured.

I would assume they did not anticipate the game being such a hit, thus their infrastructure not up to the task.
