COD4 client timeout issues

I have added
seta cl_connectionAttempts "30"

to my mp_config and connect with in 3 seconds or less now every time.
I have tested it 4 times on 10 different servers.

Could a few more guys test this please.

I always had to connect 3 or 4 times to get on most servers but it is so random.

I have it set to 20. It helps so you don't have to type /reconnect all of the time.

One thing to note. You cannot escape out of it once the count has started so if you don't join the server you're stuck until it ends. That's why I chose to set it at 20 instead of 30.

Well in COD2 most of the time it took me to the count of 26 to connect not all the time but most.

I tryed it and it ran out to 30, then I changed to 15 it still takes me three times before I connect to a server. Hope there's a fix for this soon, it's a real pain.

ya I am back to timing out now too.Was good this morning.
now back to reconnecting 3 or 4 times to get on my server.
This really sux trying to populate a server when have of them can't even connect.

Yeah mine went from three times to connect to four or even five times. I'm asking players in my server if there having trouble, but there saying no. My server staying full. But it's me that can't get in on the frist try.

I'm really hope they fix this soon!! we are keeping 3 server relatively full despite this problem.
