We are running a mixed gametype rotation on our server consisting of 1 TDM (or WAR) map to every 2 SAB maps. I have teambalance enabled in the config and in TDM, it works just fine. The problem is that it does not do anything in SAB.
Tonight, while playing SAB on the Bog map, teams got way out of balance. We had 11 USMC agains 5 Opfor. To top it off my frustration that teambalance was not working, I had to threaten players with being kicked before I could get some of them to move to the other team (come on really, you get the choice of all the same weapons...).
Anyone noticed any similar problems? Has anyone had teambalance work in SAB?

Rude, would it be possible to start a bug report thread here? I think the team balance problem I am having is a bug, and since you have a decent relationship with some people at IW, maybe they would look at your list with a little weight vs. the bitch and moan session going on in their own forums.

A slight update to the problem. Seems teambalance does actually work in SAB, however it balances at the start of the next round (which on my server is only every 15 minutes unless a team wins). It needs to do constant checking for balance to keep the teams even during the match, not wait until one team is slaughtered by far superior numbers and then even them up, only to have the people who got balanced jump ship and go back to the team they were just on.

I thought it teambalanced only between the rounds because players can't enter after a round starts. Just wish people would use autoassign more oftern, gets old all these players wanting to be a "Marine" all the time.

Not sure if that is a setup issue then. Players have no difficulty joining my server and playing mid-round.

Teambalance only works for me at the start of a round. I have been on server though that it actually happens during play and even states such on the screen. I can not get it to do that.
