I cannot get my dedicated server to launch the server. I have everything installed as other posts recommended. I installed the DX thing, and installed PB. I uploaded my entire game directory, setup my configs, setup my command line and when i go to click on the icon to launch the server or try to use ServerDoc, it just sits there doing nothing. No errors, No crashes, no launch.
Does anyone have any idea what would cause this?
Thanks in advance for help.

Make sure your shortcut has the correct root directory listed in the "Start in" box. I moved an install once and changed the command line but forgot to change the start in info and it did exactly what you describe.

I figured it out:
The directions said to put the dx file in windows/system32 but that wasn't working. I used a different file (d3dx9_34.dll instead of d3dx10_34.dll), and I put it in the COD directory and the server came right up. Not sure if it makes a difference which dll file you use, but it definitely needs to be in the game directory not system32.
