I don't have the game and can not check the servers.
The forums EA and Toatal MOHA is just about dead.Only a couple of postings a day.Even then they talk about something else.

I saw one UK GSP posting in a thread that even with the new patch he is having trouble keeping the server up and running.

Last report I saw was 50 players online.
Is it really that bad now even with the new DS patch?

Here is his post
he is running http://www.gamingdeluxe.co.uk/
I think im going to give up supporting it. I had 15 clans I had an understanding with up untill yesterday where I rebooted the server for them. Having now tied the new patch in with Tcadmin im getting crashes every 20 mins and every one is unhappy http://forums.ea.com/mboards/images/emoticons/sad.gif. The game is ruining my reputation and I cant continue to support it due to this.

As of 7:35PM EST (-5GMT) there are 198 clients playing on x number of servers.

Gamespy reporting the following at the same time, I'll just post the bottom 3 (out of 40)

38. FlatOut 2 (PC) (http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/mods.asp?id=1420&s=1) 96 servers, 352 players
39. Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PS2) (http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/mods.asp?id=1204&s=1) 80 servers, 337 players
40. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/mods.asp?id=1563&s=1) 148 servers, 314 players http://archive.gamespy.com/images/dot.gifhttp://archive.gamespy.com/images/dot.gif

Sad part of course is management will say, "Well the PC market is really shrinking. That supports our decision to focus on the console market."

I agree. All it amounts to is they're BS'ing themselves.

I never purchased or followed Pacific Assault.... did it die as fast of a death as Airborne has done?

I do not see Airborne recovery from this, even with a patch. The new engine just creates a bunch of laggy servers... then you compare that to the smooth game play on COD4 with the same PC. It's pretty sad.... EA should never have changed engines.

Not sticking up for EA here as they have screwed us over with Airborne, but there is more servers running than what is showing.

I have noticed that for the past 2 days, there have been no Australian Servers showing.

There are 5 servers currently here, but none show in the in game browser.

My clan server is up and running, but currently is not connecting to EA. Same problem a few of the other Aussie server admins are having.

It is also not just effecting Australian Servers.

It shows that despite giving us the true (dare I say it) dedicated server files, they still have major issues with them connecting to the EA Master Server.

If they actually could FIX the issues and not post rosie stories about what they are doing and actually do it, the game would take off.

When the Aussie Servers are up and showing, they are actually full, and for a fair period of time.

As for the lag, I can honestly say I have never had an issue, but that my be the High End Machine im using.

That is kinda the point I was trying to make. Not everyone that is playing on the PC side has a high end machine.

I am running a Pent 4, 3.4Ghz with 2 megs a ram and a ATI Radeon X1950 GT graphic's card. I suppose its fair to lower end by today's standards, but it list above the mimimum specs to run Airborne.

Yet when I am on a server I can only pull between 20 to 40 FPS if I am lucky... on the remake of The Hunt I can drop to 7 fps in certain spots.

Then I play COD4 with the same system and I get 60 to 70 fps all the time.

I would say I am in the majority when it comes to Airborne players as well.

Ours still gets people in there. There are so many things they could do with Airborne to make it a great long-standing game. Problem is, it will end up being too little too late I'm afraid.

I just took a survey for a new Airborne game (sounded like an expansion pack). It also smelled of Co-op play - IF that happened, I could see an Airborne revival.

I hope they don't expect any money for this "expansion pack" As has often be mentioned on this and many other forums. The single player is well short! and the MP game is shocking! I can't beleve I payed full price for this game.

Last weekend I did a reinstall on my system, I have not installed any of the MoH games I own. The box is sitting on the shelf. Four disk boxes sat on the shelf in front of me, and there they will stay...

I fully agree and understand that! I had some high hopes for this game and bought it specifically for multiplayer. I cannot believe that EA released this game without multiplayer options. This was obviously made for the consoles first and ported to the PC. I fear that this will be the trend for the future, instead of the rarity.

I think GRAW2 is the same, Rainbow Six Vegas too. Both of these could have been huge hits but fell short for the same reason.
