Localized English

Anyone have any idea if the Localized English (or which ever language installed) files are going to be needed in the dedicated server setup to keep the server ranked?

I am assuming that, just like with COD2, they will not be needed to run the server, but I am wondering if their absence will render the server as modified and not allow it to be ranked.

TBH, I don't see where that would effect ranked servers. To me, there is no way of "padding" the server when you have a different lang. or no lang. installed.

I agree. I was just hoping that it does not do some sort of file count to determine the appropriate number of iwd and ff files are all there. I just don't want to spend the extra time uploading the language files if they aren't needed since my upload speed is horrible.

OK do we have a definative answer to this ? Do we need to upload the localized_english ? Because if we don't have to upload that and the video thats probabally close to 2 gigs less of uploading, any help here would be welcome. Thanks...

So far, yes you have to install all the files listed in my MD5 check sum list (sticky on top) which includes the zone files
