.bat files

OK I'm a new server admin bunggling through as I go.
So I'm here to pick some brains and get educated in the ways of server setup.

So I'll ask some noobish questions so don't laugh.

I understand that to run cod4 servers they need to be stock (almost) configs. However I want to run 3 servers like this
1 sd 32 slot
2 tdm 32 slot
3 match server 20 slot

So I need to know how to use .bat files (never used one so don't even now how to make one) to execute each server on a given port.

I know I can do this from 1 install but not sure how. I guess I would put all the various configs in the usual place and execute them useing the said .bat but we are useing Pb with it so can I direct the screenies from each server to a different folder? and if so HOW ??

A good place to start would be to have the game :D

You don't necessarily need bat files. I guess it depends on what you want to do. Bat files will give you some looping options (if the server crashes).

Best thing to use for running game servers is Serverdoc. www.serverdoc.org. It'll do all that automatically. There's a free version available.

Like woody said if we had the game we could give you a clear awnser. there is no usefull info about the deddie server just yet so im not going to speculate if its the same as the older Cod series.just have to wait couple days.
