Not many places yet until EA gets this game squared away. Right now it is next to impossible for a GSP to run in a manner that their customers will be happy. I know I refuse to sell any until then.

We at HRGamers.com rent game servers, but we are still trying to work out this weird DS config for MOHA. We will offer them as soon as we do.

I see them selling server with more then 16 slots. They are up and running.
Did they actually fixed the 16 player limit or did they just assumed that it should work?

I would stay far away from artofwarcentral sorry but I used them for a year big mistakes. I have a perfect system that allows you to load and games you want to play and it also runs directly from your own desk top. I have 3 servers 2 bf2's 1 is a 40 man and other is a 64 man and I also have to moh airborne servers full control web site space storage ect 150.00 a month.;)

TBH if the server canot run as A stand alone servers there will be no host that in their right mind will sell this.
the server lisnes to the ip: the box ip . this is usaly the remote access ip so secrurety wise this will be a bigg issue
the dedicated servers are not stand alone you can only run multiple servers from one install.
12 slots is the EA capped limit if a GSP increases the server player limit the clans who rent them will have lots trouble the double spawnning lagg can occur sence the game wasent coded in the first place to hold that mutch players ..
and the scoreboard can only show 12 player not that it mathers its a crappy scoreboard anyways not dynamic like the old mohaa,s games.
last not least this game is unmoddable and has little content talk about maps and gametypes.
the way it was shipped and patched as it is right know it will never be a greate game and probably the only ones who are running it are the c;lans that have their own hardware.
i could go on and on but like i said like ths no GSP wil probably host airborne and can really make some profit of it.

Unfortunately, they were one of the only places out there we could find who was offering a server. Who hosts yours?

Nat, is your server working? We are renting one through them also, but we can't connect to it????!!!! What server are you running? Would like to talk to you about it because AOWC is having issues (or isn't trying) to fix ours.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Turbo,
Our Server is the 69th ID server. We're not having any adverse issues and I couldn't connect to ours at first until I dealt with my firewall. It runs well enough, though I'm no authority with the Unreal Tournament Engine- I'm actually a complete noob with it. I'm amazed at the lack of admin options and the counterintuitiveness of the whole interface. We're on a month to month rental and if EA doesn't do something fast we're dropping it because Airborne for Multiplayer essentually sucks.
BTW our main Mohaa servers are rented through GameServers and we think they're great. I suspect that they're not offering Moha because they're Linux based and of course because Moha sucks.

I have run servers too for almost 10 years.I had my own Deticated box for over a year.
I had 1 gig of Memory in the box.I run 3 COD servers with it.oOne server was always full 26 slots. The other one had a few people playing. When I added 4th server and people started to join it got very laggy I mean unplayable.
For the $150 a month witch is a very good deal but only 512 meg mem.I don't see it possible to run 4 servers not with my experiance.I mean you can put up 4 servers no problem but if you have players on each one it would not be able to handel it in my experiance.

At the moment airborne is best suited to those who have there own dedicated machines As they can just upload the files and go.
For those wishing to rent a single Airborne server by slot etc I would wait as there are more patches due out for the game and many issues to be resolved, not least the fact that only 12 players can display in the score menu and the lack of in game console for kicking, changing map etc etc..
I think it would be rather irresponsible of server providers to rent this game out yet or if they do cap it to 12 player max as its clearly not ready yet.
If you run your own dedi box, have uploaded the game and wish to run more than one server I would recommend a minimum of 2gig ram as with 2 running things seemed a little choppy on my server.
1 gig is ok for one server although i've yet to run a full airborne server and a full spearhead server at the same time to gage the performance.
My clans machine is a p4 3.2 ghz with a gig of ram

I rent from www.hypernia.net and like I stated for $150.00 a month i run 3 bf2 servers and 1 mohairborne server.
its nice that you rent this but this is not like renting a loose server you are renting a managed dedicated box its not the same as renting loose servers from a GSP.
And like many have stated before in this state NO GSP can sell loose Airborne servers and if they do its limited for the client.
sence the dedicated version of airborne cannot run stand alone andit dont make use of a querie protocol this game has no interest for GSP.s in this state its only usefull for people who have their own machines or GSP,S who sell managed dedicated boxes.

Just an update
I have been reading in the forums.
Seems like EA is having some problems with the master server.
Servers losing connection all the time now.If no one is there to restart the server and log back in the servers stays down.
Someone reported that only 5 servers where up at one point.
Others report that they (clients) can not log into any server at all at times.
I had a strange message while playing on our server last night. A message came up and said something about a 48hr server restart and then booted everyone out.
Has anyone else seen this on their dedicated server?
Just saw this posted over at EA forum.

lol its all mumbo jumbo Bud , I rent I am in charge I have full access to run any game I want update my own patches set up any amount of websites-teamspeak change games and If I dont want to do it myself then I will send a Pm and its done, ect. you cant rain on my parade lol..
Now back to the Airborne side! I just shut my Airborne server down because after all the playing and stuff we decided we will mostly play bf2 and run the airborne once in a blue or just rent it out.

not raining on your parade what you rent is good but thats not the question that people asked you rent a managed dedicated box not a loose game server and that was the question where can you rent one.
what i was saying that renting one server there is almost no GSP that can do that sence Airborne lacks of good options to set up multple servers for an GSP.what you rent is a dedicated machine with options to run whatever you want on it. either you do it yourself or your GSP wll do it for you.

Well in the end, We never rented one. With the lack luster multiplayer why throw good money at a poor game. With 96 servers running it all ready and only 89 players playing right now. Moved on to COD4 and have already pre-order a server for 6 months. Also looking into Frontlines Fuel of War early next year. Thanks for everyone's input though.

We ditched ours. We're a hardcore Allied Assault clan but we're going to give COD4 a looksie. :D
