I was searching ea forums and found this , this could be the reason for the delay of dedicated server files , none of the EA idiots could confirm this or didnt want to ,. i think they already killed this game because of the long wait for multyplayer

In the coming weeks Electronic Arts will be releasing their first patch for their latest installment in the popular Medal of Honor franchise, Medal of Honor Airborne.

Included in this patch are fixes and the release of the highly anticipated dedicated server files.

With the advent of Medal of Honor Airborne DMW has been working on a new evolution of anti-cheat technology, DMW Pro, which will coincide with the release of Medal of Honor Airborne's dedicated server files.

In the run up to the forthcoming patch DMW will be working on finalising DMW Pro in order to ensure that we provide the best cheat free experience possible.

Airborne is has not been delayed due to DMW.

What the newspost is saying is that DMW Pro should be ready for release when the patch for airborne comes out.

The delay of the Airborne patch has nothing at all to do with DMW.

The delay is EA's and EA's alone.

People should stop looking for a reason other than the Airborne dev team and in particular the Senior management appear to have been quite willing to release what can only be described as an unfinished game for sale to the public.

They were fully aware of their actions and what fury it would cause amongst PC gamers and the MOH community in particular.

We must face the fact that they led us on with promises and half-truths with the sole aim of getting as much revenue from the title before the end of the fiscal quarter.

Sad but looking increasingly true.

Butch... I agree with you completely. Its a sad time for the PC online community. As I said earlier, EA will NEVER see another penny of my money.

Yup agreed, Patrick Gilmore on down thru the whole development team, the half-truth's and lies start at the top and trickle down thru their whole development team. As each day passes it's just one more shovel of dirt being thrown on this title and interest dwindles day by day. I have a funny feeling this game is gonna go nowhere even if it has a dedicated server, because in todays games being half made there will need to be continued support and from I have seen so far, this Dev team can do only one thing and thats lie thru their teeth to make a buck. Patrick stated on Oct. 1st that the dedicated server was complete, when in fact it was not, I mean somebody has to be a complete idiot to believe otherwise.....EA is one greedy SOB!

Odd that we haven't seen Blackhat in a while. Looks like he gave up on the BS posting as nothing he has said has actually happened. I wonder if he and EA knows what that does to the community. Stillborn is now once again dead.

I'd have to chime in on the fact that they knew what the PC MP reaction would be. I remember at the MP Summit when the PC guys all drew off to the side and was nodding heads sadly or in almost disbelief by what they had heard there. All I could say was, "This is NOT ready."

I don't expect this patch to help the game too much. There just isn't enough there. Yeah, maybe we can host servers now on a fat-bandwidth pipe, which will certainly help solve a lot of the lag, but the game is still lacking in almost every other department.

Max Server Size: Too small for a large number of clans
Content: WAY too little for MP
Mod/Mapping Tools: I'm honestly doubting they will ever come out

This is sad, because the game itself is actually quite FUN. How can you make a FUN game, then screw up everything else? You make Airborne...

As I've said, if you are into SP games, Airborne is alright. A little light on content there too, but still quite fun. But do not buy this game for MP...
