Stop the presses!! Online games are more popular! ArsTechnica has an article (about a study) about the topic. Good to see someone backing up the gamers who have been saying this for years!

The study found that by adding online functionality into a game—more specifically the ability to play against or with others—developers can generally double the amount of money your game makes. The finding in the study is more intuitive: high quality games (defined as having a Metacritic score of 90+) can sell up to 531 percent more than the average. So now, the job is clear: make high-quality games, and don't forget the online component. And someone send this to EA :p

eeehwwwwwwwwwj, wii/console

sorry have to say, but this is a console have to be review in my eyes.

for friends or good dedicated players you can use the PC, ASE, Qtracker or just your clan and your own server...... as small comment on it.

the previous mentiond i don't see/read anywhere in the article, in my opinion a useless article.

just by adding some online stuff the sales double, hmmmmm MOH-Airless as it was released, high quality SP, shi**y MP and your sale goes 5X more.
but MohA did great, some online and none more, if you read this article good, whowee big sale by this study.

but GOW might be coming to the pc, at least it being converted, hope they do a better job then EA or AV does lately.
