Server NOT showing in Gamespy??

Why can´t i see my server in gamespy??? I can see it in the "ingame" browser...
Please help mee i´m goning crazy soon :x

Dont know if this will work for your problem My problem was just the oposite but it's worth a try

OK, I think I have figured this out.

If your dedicated server is not showing up in the in game browser, try the following:

On your server, open your Call of duty /main folder and locate the config_mp.cfg file
rename this file zzconfig_mp.cfg
restart your server and see if it's now listed
I was able to get my server listed after renaming the cfg ile. I then was able to recreate the problem where it was not showing up. So I feel this should work for others.

Now if I really felt like digging I would pull the config_mp.cfg file apart to see what is really causing the problem beat me donw and it's time to get some sleep.

Once you rename your old config_mp.cfg, a new config_mp.cfg file will be created but I recommend you rename it just in case. DO NOT DELETE THIS FILE YET!

This is only for servers that where working before upgrading to 1.2

Please leave feedback and let me know if this solved your problem.

IF YOU CANNOT SEE YOUR MODDED or UNPURE SERVER IN THE CoD GAME BROWSER AFTER UPGRADING TO the 1.2 patch.


The CoD 1.2 Patch changes the "Filter Server" option (top area of CoD Browser) back to "Pure Server" "Yes" as the default option for you server filter!

This means that any servers NOT requiring the PURE will be filtered out of your CoD Browser. Please spread the word to turn the "Filter Server" option for "Pure Servers" from "Yes" back to "No" or any server with mods (like the wonderful CKR mod/or even the plagiarized PRM mod) from being seen.

ehh rude I just tried that renamed the cfg and it created a fresh one,,still no go whats interesting tho is in the config_mp.cfg it has only one of the seta master servers listed in there with the actual server the rest of em just list nothing

even tho i have all of em listed in the actual server.cfg maybe I need to add em in there

it shows up in gamespy and ASE just not in the in-game browser..I messed with the filter settings still doesnt show up..a guy I know said he had to add it manually and put it into his fav places

1.Renamed config_mp to zzconfig_mp mp
2. Saved zzconfig_mp
to another folder, just in case
3. Turned pure filter setting on the IG browser to NO.
4. Used these setting's seta sv_gamespy "1"

5. Server shows up in IG browser, ase and gamespy.

Hey guys, had the same problems as you guys. Man just stop completly and restart the server with 1 minute gaps with it off. I had the same problem with ours servers. Just had to shut it down completly and re execute the shortcut. Did that like 3 times and its showing now. Thats all I had to do, and it finally recognized us.
