So Apple users have had it good for while now having being the only people to use Safari, (its the only thing I like about my MAC, personally, as the dam thing cost both legs and one arm, makes type a bitch).
Well PC users Apple has finally let Safari 3 loose on the PC world in the form of a beta and its free.
Safari 3 is now available as a public beta for both MAC and PC users.
Get it here (http://www.apple.com/safari/download/). (Apple US)
Or view a better page and also download it here (http://www.apple.com/uk/safari/). (Apple UK)
The latter page also contains some nice info on why Safari is so good.
Go grab it it really is the fastest broswer and, although it pains me to say it probably the best web browser also.
Dam you Apple sometimes you do make good stuff, at least this ones free unoike teh over priced under performaing junk they sell as a lfiestyle product, sorry rant over.

hmm, i am using both, mac and pc. Even on a mac the firefox is quicker and more preciseley. It looks nice, but thats just all. Firefox is still the quickest and best.

I disagree personally in my expirence safari is faster and it loads cahced pages much faster, however it has its problems (the beta I mean),Bold text looks odd and less crsip than IE or firefox, its the same for some fonts.
I'm not sure what you mean by preciseley?
Speed wise check out the Apple UK link for what Apple say.
I only just installed safari on my PC, how long have been using? I'd like to know if you have any issues with ajax, flash or css? I'm testing some stuff know and found it pretty good so far.

with preciseley i ment, its showing too much pages in not in a correct way. Ajax or Javascrips are very often troubleshooters. I am developing websites also and have often trouble with it. Everything nice on FF or even IE, but Steve´s one dont want to.
I think if they go on making it more compatible it will be a nice alternative to IE or FF on windows. But atm its too buggy still in showing pages.

Opera blows them both away, and it's now free.

Indeed, I wouldnt use anything else other than a combination of Opera and Thunderbird. Opera is multi functinal and combines a few programs into 1 neat fast package, I havent come a cross a site it wouldnt load, with the noteable exception of some online banking sites who only use IE.
I will check out this new Safari though to see how comparable it is

Currently I run Safari on my MBP to check compatibility on my sites. However Safari has a nice way of getting around how some sites block you from downloading embedded video.
Which is one of the nicer features.
However, I'm sticking with FF. It's my browser of choice for the time being.:)
