HLC RCON v4.0 WILL BE RELEASED ASAP

UPDATE: The problem is a server pure issue. The HLC RCON mod will no longer work with PURE servers unless the server has the same exact copy of the mod residing in the server's \main folder .

It will support the new cvars and console commands, including:

-Temporary Ban by GUID
-Temporary Ban duration setting (15min, 30min, 60min, 4 hours,
24 hours)
-Permanent Ban by GUID
-KillCam Enable/disable
-FreeSpectate Enable/Disable
-EnemyTeam spectate Enable/Disable
-New HeadQuarters Gametype

Clicking on the SERVER STATUS button will request a player list from the server and bring down the console. You'll see a list of all the players in the server at the moment, with their respective client numbers listed in the far left column next to their name. Try it in a private server (create your own server from your gaming machine for just 1 client) to learn how to use it.

Just 2 questions 1. Is there anyway to increase the number of players, we run a 40 player server. 2. The map section doesnt show our custom maps. Is there anyway to do this.

WOODGATE: Wow, 40 person server!?! Are you guys snorting coke? Holy crap! (no pun intended) :o

Well, I suppose I could increase the # of clients supported up to 40, hell, it's only 6 more. Look for it in the next update; i'll make sure i try to do it.

Now regarding the custom maps. When you say they don't show up, do you mean there are no buttons for them, or they don't show up in the local map list (scrollable)? Because as long as the map pak files are in the client's \main folder, they should show up in the scroll feeder-list box. You still have to use the console and the /rcon map <mapname> command though. I'm still pondering methods of integrating custom maps....

Thanks Moses 40 players can be awesome and its usually grass...lol

We run 2 custom maps, V2 and The Hunt and neither show up in the scrollable maplist

I will look into this more when i get home after work. But for now, are your map files stored in the \main directory, or are you calling them up through another subdirectory?

Also, has anyone locked weapons down using the HLC 4.1 and it kills some of your keys where you can't move or hit escape or similar? The only way I was able to fix this was to close COD and go back in. I had another clan member have the same issue.

FAQ UPDATED

BELTIC:
You can get it here at this site. Click on the DOWNLOADS link at the left, then click on ADMIN Tools. It's in that section.


EROC:
Those weapon shortcut keys send a TON of commands consecutively to the server. This takes time to happen, so don't try to do anything until you see a confirmation message saying the process (all weapons reset, server is now rifles only, etc) is finished. It will take several moments, so just give it a minute. :)

I live on the border of Ct and RI, so when the wife and I go shopping we head to Warwick. I've been to Dave and Busters' a few times. Pretty cool, just sucks if I lose my reciept and get hosed for parking :)

Next time we have an LAN I'll have to post here to see if any peeps from your area want to hook up.
