Quake Wars release date slips

I spotted this over at the Firing Squad, and checked it out on a few other places.

While developers Splash Damage and id Software and publisher Activision have always had a "when its done" release date for their multiplayer shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, online retailers like EBGames.com have had a June 5 release date for the game for some time. Today that date at EBGames.com has now changed with the retailer now showing a July 2 release date for the game (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?cookie%5Ftest=1&product%5Fid=647029).

That sucks, a month longer to wait.

Notice what is listed under demos. Dirty this is suppose to be from the UK version of PC Gamer. If you see this in the news stands please let us know. Activision has not replied to my inquires about this.

I'll keep an eye out for it. I have a buddy with a subscription so I'll see if he has information about the next issue.

Note: Status and date are still unconfirmed, they have been like that since october last year.

Juat fuel teh fire a little more Amazon UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Enemy-Territory-Quake-Wars-PC/dp/B0009RW87M/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/203-9244808-4847125?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1179399991&sr=8-1) now has a release date of September 30 2007, but play.com (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/1011934/Enemy-Territory-Quake-Wars-Limited-Edition-Collectors-Pack/Product.html) has a release date of 15 June 2007.

In short its looking messy.
