What does CoD run better on Linux or Win2/3K

al depends on how much money you got and what you wanna do with the server (ie how many servers are you gonna set up on the machine) windows needs a license meaning more money !

Linux uses less CPU and less Memory than windows but donest have gui interface meaning all is done by cmds.

windows is very easy to use.... etc

Linux has many GUI's.
Money is not a concern.
I am looking to see if CoD runs better and faster on Win or Linux.

If Win2/3k is faster and better then Linux for Call of Duty, then Win2/3k is what I will use on my new box.

hum it does but not in my case ,what i meant is like on a remote server (the only thing i got is SSH )...actally not ,since i installed webmin too...

well im running the game on a linux box and i must say my servers are running great.

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 1024MB ram
connection :100MB port
OS:linux

im running 2 X 32 MAN and 2 X 24 servers

as for windows i ve never had a windows server so i cant compare....

Technically CoD runs better on Windows because the Linux ded is buggy. But then Linux is more stable, more efficient and better for remote servers.

Edit: at least v1.1 of the Linux ded was buggy
