Server not showing on list at all times

I run a tdm server and sometimes it shows up on the lists and sometimes it doesnt. here is what i have in my exe shortcut to start the game

"C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDMP.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec dedsernew.cfg +set net_ip 66.156.55.22 set net_ip 28960 +map_rotate

the strange thing is it will show in my favorites list and a website game query at all times, but just not show up in the main game listings. If you need my server config file, i can post it. The only mod i run is the codamin.

another question.. can 2 cod servers run from the same computer, with different ip's but on the SAME port?

The ingame browser is certainly limited to 2048 servers, whether that means the master server will only ever return details for 2048 servers I don't know (I'm sure someone else here will), but there are certainly more than 2048 servers online.

Afaik, if you've got 2 servers running successfully on different IPs on a multi-homed PC then they should be able to use the same port number. No harm in trying it anyway. :smile:

i didn't know about the server limit. didn't really think about that, but it makes sense. thx man
