Question about banning users?

1- Can you ban by ip, read that this function doesn't work with rcon?

2- If you ban by Client/slot # does it ban that person by their ip was just wondering how it bans them haven't had to do it yet but we had a guy on with an aimbot last night 50 - 0 deaths with the larger of the 2 German machine guns on hurtgen killing people from across the map :(

3- What is the most effective way to ban a user now until you can ban by cd key?

None of the ban commands in the game work. You'll have to wait for the patch or use a 3rd party tool like Autokick.

I usually just add problem folks to the firewall deny_access list. That way it keeps 'em off my website/fourms too. :wink:

A simple way is to install Crowkings AutoKick. I am using this until a better method of banning with a central database that my admins can access comes along.
