well publishers always intend to make the most profit out of a game, thuss they make it available to the widest range of PCs they can so more people will buy it.

now i'm just gessing, but as far as i know it will use unreal 3 engine, which as far as i know has more pressure on visuals than physics. this would suggest it would require a better vga than a better cpu.

i think it will run fine on 1Gb ram, some lowend (6300, 6400) intel core2 or better AMD and some decent vga, like a 7600GT
