I was able to run the server just fine, but It would not show up in gamespy at all. I looked around the boards and discovered that i needed to put the following lines to my config file:
set sv_gamespy "1"
set sv_master1 "codmaster.activision.com"
set sv_master2 "master.gamespy.com:27900"
set sv_master3 "master0.gamespy.com"
set sv_master4 "clanservers.net"
set sv_master5 "master.qtracker.com"
After doing so I am no longer able to connect to the server. On the client terminal i get EXE_AWAITINGCDKEYAUTH over and over again. Nothing happens server side other than "Sending heartbeat to...blahblahblah".
Also when I remove the "set sv_master(2-5)" lines (thinking this may help) and reboot the cod server they still try to send "heartbeats" to them!!!! Why? They are no longer in my config file! Are they in the config_mp_server.cfg or default_mp.cfg? I can't find those files, how do they get executed? Those are the only 2 files that get executed during startup (language.cfg and autoexec_mp.cfg do not)
