BF2142 Patch Plans
The Battlefield Franchise Website (http://www.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield/bf/BF2142_News_110306.aspx) (thanks BF2142Nation.co.uk (http://bf2142.gamersnation.co.uk/)) has an update explaining DICE's commitment to a smoother support process for Battlefield 2142 than its predecessor, describing the establishment of a live support team to monitor customer experience for the game and develop patches to address bugs (rather than add new content). Based in their Stockholm offices, the Live Team will include members of the original development team, which differs from how Battlefield 2 patching was handled by the now closed DICE Canada studio. The update concludes with a description of a few of the more than 25 fixes planned for the upcoming version 1.05 patch, saying its release is expected sometime this month.
