Looks like there was a long lost cvar in PRM that we fergot about :D
sv_balanceteams 1 will make it so that players always auto-assign.
I believe the scripting was original work done by my man Wolfsbane, if I am mistaken, then plz contact me via PM about this, and we will get it cleared up.
