Two hackers made a presentation at Toorcon in San Deigo climing that Firefox had a hugh and critical flaw that stems for its handling of Javascript.
The hackers, Mischa Spiegelmock and Andrew Wbeelsoi, claim that this could lead to remote control of any affected computer, including Windows, Apple, and Linux systems.
Spiegelmock reportedly said that the JavaScript implementation is a "complete mess" and that it is "impossible to patch." Upon watching a video of the presentation, Window Synder, Mozilla's security chief, said that this issue appears to be a "real vulnerability".

It does seem that this is no hoax and the hackers that found the flaw have basically told the hacker community how to exploit the problem. It has long been seen and said teh Firefox is safer than IE which is true however that was until Firefox started to get big. Know the hackers seem to have set there sights on Firefox and this will probably be teh first of many flaws found as more and more hackers get stuck into Firefox and devote there time to exploiting it.
