JPAQ - Yes, we’ll have both stated and hidden objectives in Airborne. We’re calling our hidden objectives “Targets of Opportunity,” (TOO’s) after an actual term used by the paratroopers. When they would jump into combat, not only would they have a clear, primary objective, but also a requirement to sabotage any and all enemy equipment, supplies or other “targets of opportunity.” In our game, the player will discover TOO’s by exploring the environment. Once the player comes within range, the TOO will become active and be added to a logbook (which keeps track of all objective status). A TOO is usually a little less of a challenge than primary objectives, but they’re still tough. Completion of TOO’s will add to the player’s overall completion, as well as earn medals and other rewards.
