Over the weekend we received an official press release from, Digital Illusions regarding the release of Bad Company a new Battlefield game for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Digital Illusions reveal new title - Battlefield: Bad Company
Today Digital Illusions (DICE) revealed the new title Battlefield: Bad Company for XBox360 and PS3. Battlefield: Bad Company is scheduled for release during 2007 and is one of the previously announced games without title.
Battlefield: Bad Company is a completely new game which uses "Frostbite", DICE's in-house developed game engine.
What interests us at FPSadmin.com is not a game released for the next generation consoles but the engine the game is built on. Could this new engine named "Frostbite" be used in the next installment for Battlefield for the PC? When and if more info becomes available, we will pass it along ASAP.
