Rcon status command

I'm an Server Admin on my clan's servers. When I first started using rcon for COD my rcon status screen would come up with no trouble. Lately, it has not been working, most of the time it does not come up at all, and sometimes it will come up after about 15 tries. I check my rconpassword, everything is good. I can kick and use console chat, and do everything else, but the status screen will not come up. Has anybody else run into this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Somehow it seemed, that I had to hit the enter key just right. I mean my enter key works for everything else, but for the status I had to hit it somewhere between soft and hard. Well my solution was was to bind my status command to another key, and it's working fine now.
