Hi, I hope this is an easy fix...
I installed serverwatch today on my computer at work (shhhh)...
Our server is rented from fraghq.com and i asked them if i could have ftp access to my games_mp.log file, which was no problem..
I set up serverwatch according to the guide by shadowbee?? and the rcon half works perfect, i can see who is playing....
But I keep getting ftp errors, there will be none for about 5 minutes, then it will just start looping about too many ftp errors and people get kicked.
They say when they get kicked it says something about "anticheat software" ...
I know the anticheat part doesn't work with cod, and I don't want to use that.
All I want it to do is killing streak messages, swear filter, anti tk, and look at chat remotely...
I have my g_log thing set to 1 and my ftp path as /main/games_mp.log

Any questions or answers???
Thanks

1: check your ftp server maybe try passive mode
2: SW anticheat support cod since it is released to public
(disable the server if you dont want it - file -AntiCheat setup - mark disbale server)

3: question:
you know what serverwatch is about ? *G* sorry but you asked for a question.

FragHQ does not allow passive connections. They need the extra security left as it is.

If you do not use passive, you will get many errors and eventually, your IP will be banned for 10 minutes for hammering.

Only suggestion I have is to see if you can run it on the machine. Set it up the way you want and connect locally. There will be alot of changes you cannot make, but you will get some use out of it as you can connect to the log without having to access it by FTP.

>extra security
? if you have someone tell you that ask him why he trust the ftp enough to give you a login but dont allow passiv mode ? The only difference between active and passive is how open the data connection on ftp. (on active the client open a port and the server connect to)

I had the same problem and here is what I did to solve it.

I tuned everything that involves kicking off. Then slowly when through turning some of the stuff back on. The one think that I found that doesnt work to well is the Ping kicking, it starts to kick people that have good pings. So I got another program to moniter the pings.

Im sure you just have to do the setup rigth ?

What do you put in ?
You read that you have to putin the sum and not the avg ?

The ping kick does have problems. Works right for awhile then starts booting people with low pings. I even tried setting ours on 20 scans with a sum of 4500. This should only kick people with pings higher than 225, but it did not. If we tried lowering the scans to less than 10, it would kick everyone during the map loading phase because of high ping. We just turned it off. Pings are not usually a problem anymore as more and more people have DSL or Cable internet.

During map load the ping was 999 on Mohaa so i dont counted that. Maybe that differs on COD i dont know. If yes that is a source of problems.

We have ours set at 3500 over 10 scans, and rarely does it kick for anything under 350 inappropriately. And when it kicks, it apparently is showing the ping at the time of the kick, not the avg of the ping over those 10 scans.
