Now this is cool. We all complain that, developers don't listen to us, their customers. We also know not everyone praises or complains in public. Granted more people that are online savvy will go online and voice their opinions good or bad.

Valve has the right idea, let the actual game tell you what needs to be fixed, tweaked or changed. They have used advanced statistics from the game to balance a certain part of the game to make it more playable. Now wouldn't this be great if they could tell that a part of the game was causing a glitch or bug? Then they fix, based on actual data not human emotion. I love this idea!Half-Life 2: Episode One Update Released (http://steampowered.com/index.php?area=news&id=681)

Updates to Half-Life 2: Episode One have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. Based on the statistics gathered from people playing through Episode One, we're making a small balance change to the elevator battle before you head back up to City 17. The specific changes are as follows:

Half-Life 2: Episode OneAdded
Added some more health for players to pick up
Added more cinderblocks and barrels for physics ammunition
Added some extra shotgun shells at start of the fight
Slightly reduced the number of zombies attacking the player
