Hitch warnings are server-side due to a loss of processor time by the server execuatble. Make sure:
1. You have enough RAM (use taskmanager to see how much RAM codMP.exe is using). CoD may be swapping to Hard Drive, causing page faults, and thus massive processing slowdown.
2. check other processes if they're running with higher-than-normal priority. Since Windows really doesnt have pre-emptive multitasking, its possible for CoDMP.exe to lose control of the processor for too long to another process (i.e. Norton, Zonealarm, etc..)
3. Dont move the CoDMP.exe console window. =) All game processing stops.
4. With 256 Mb of RAM, do not attempt to run the client and server on the same machine. You will not have enough RAM.
