best way to make an iwd?

ok I am trying the bullet worm fix for cod2 but what i dont know is how exactly do you make an iwd file? I have all my csv's in one folder but i am not sure what to do from there.I have winrar,winzip and pakscape.

simply create a zip or rar file and rename it iwd

my_mod_fix.zip = my_mod_fix.iwd

same thing with old pk3 files simply rename ziped or rared files to .pk3

hmmm I added the folder to winrar archive and then renamed it to .iwd and uploaded it but it shows as a rar file and not an iwd file.What am I doing wrong?

try renaming it through your ftp client by right clicking on it once it's on the server.
