While we PC users are still neglected by Activision/InfinityWard, Call of Duty 2 development and propaganda for the console continues. I just found two 'interesting' newsarticles.

The first can be read at Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.com):

It's official: Call of Duty 2 is the most popular Xbox 360 title currently being played via Xbox Live.

That's according to the latest Live charts, which were revealed by Microsoft's Major Nelson over on his blog. CoD2 is followed by Ghost Recon 3, then Oblivion and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat.

Read the full article here (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=65230)

Have a look at Micorsoft's Major Nelson's blog (http://www.majornelson.com)

Also, Activision is releasing a 'Game of the Year-edition' for the Xbox360. The article (http://www.insidegamer.nl/xbox360/callofduty2gameoftheyear/nieuws/10856) is in Dutch, but it states that this edition will contain a bonus disc with a Making Of video, historical interviews and background information on the missions. Also, it is possible to download the Skirmisch mappack. This bonus disc is in stores in the UK as from today.

Meanwhile, the PC users are still awaiting a working patch...

Rudedog adds:
Rumor also has it that Activision is dumping any future support for the PC, as posted over at Raiders (http://www.raidersmerciless.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1204&highlight=). I have sent Activision an email inquiring about the future of the CoD franchise on the PC. As of today we still have not received any reply.
