hey all

I dunno if youre interested, but i got a nice block that will fit the Memorial Day theme .. after all, we play War themed games.
Itd be nice to commemorate this day for the vets who gave it up so we could do what we do.

heres the code, just put it in a notepad file and save it as
block-remember_memorial.php

or use any name at all. Just dont save it as a .txt file, of course.

<?php
#### Generated by Block Creator by Disipal Site (www.disipal.net) ###
if (eregi("block-Block_Creator.php",$PHP_SELF)) {
Header("Location: index.php");
die();
}
$content = "<center><object ";
$content .= "codebase=\"http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0\"";
$content .= "width=\"500\" height=\"300\"> <param value=\"nglspalsh.swf\" name=\"movie\"> <param";
$content .= "value=\"high\" name=\"quality\"><param value=\"exactfit\" name=\"SCALE\">";
$content .= "<embed scale=\"exactfit\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\"";
$content .= "pluginspage=\"http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer\"";
$content .= "quality=\"high\" height=\"400\" width=\"500\"";
$content .= "src=\"http://www.zgrafxhosting.com/images/nglspalsh.swf\"> </object>";
?>

you can see it in action over at theblackduck.net or allmoh.com

I wish I had seen this thread before posting our salute to Memorial day.

We cherish too, the Poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies.

thank you for the reply, Rudedog. My experienced website/clan guy, D@rkReCon, put it together. I used Disipal's block creator as I use NukeIP and that seems to work. I just thought that from initial reaction from our Navy vet and others this year, that I otta share it on the website dedicated to the very type of game that sources from such experience comemorated on Memorial Day.

We did it last year, and I had no idea - we didnt have the Vet we have now - just how personal this can be to a veteran.

I'm 50 and just barely escaped the Vietnam era draft. So I can only imagine what this must mean to a guy like our FlaVet who did serve from '59 to '71 in the Navy.
