How to Mod???

Ok the Tools are out and I have them downloaded.

Where does a noob go to learn how to Mod and Build maps using them?

Looked at the files and found no Read Me on how to get started.

I'm sure all the modders got this info from someone.

Go to http://www.modsonline.com. That seems to be the mecca for all modding. If you can't find what you need there, immediately, then post for help. They're pretty decent folks.

I would agree that modsonline is the best resource there is for modding. Just to follow up on the modding aspect, there is alot of of ways to modify and create .iwd files. I have found one solution that i would recommend to any modder:

Download this and you will be able to open and modify any of the following files automatically:

.pk3
.pk4
.iwd

etc.

This is a custom version of pakscape released for doom3. With this tool and plenty of spare time you can make something happen.
