How i can make a server which i can see in Xfre...

I'm having a small kinf of clan and i'd like to know how i can make pure server. or server were my friends can come. Do i need files? or something it would be good if my friends could see it whit Xfire. (sorry my bad english):)

If you guys are starting a clan or are a clan that does not have a server, then you will need to find a company who will rent you one. Then you will have control over what files you want to run. My clan runs pure, but we have mods (Modification) that add to the COD2 gaming experience. I think most servers out there run pure anyway. Unless you mean a stock server with no mods in it. There are lots of companies who rent servers and I am sure someone here can provide some good companies to talk to about that.
If you have Xfire, and jump into servers you like, your friends will be able to follow into the servers through Xfire if they are on your buddies list. Once you guys find a server you like and play in it, Xfire will post it for you under recently visited servers. That way you just open Xfire and click on that server and jump in. What is your native language? If it is Spanish I can explain all of that to you in Spanish, since I used to live in Spain and am bilingual. If you don't speak spanish then use a translating program to translate it if my instructions are hard to follow.
There are a lot of servers out there to play on that are fun, and work to try and keep hackers out. It also depends on what gametypes you like and what weapons packages you like. My clan (TNT) runs bolt rifles only, with various gametypes, and one server that runs capture the flag only. Here are our ip's if you want to jump in sometime.
