It has been removed at the request of Activision. It was not ready for prime time.
They should be releaseing the final official verison soon.

| I just passed on a new build to Activision QA, they're going to hit it
| hard on Monday and hopefully it'll hit the streets shortly thereafter.
|
| For those using the original Linux version, the incorrect udp port
| binding is fixed, and jumping on someone's head doesn't kill you or
| teleport you to the sky anymore. Still trying to find that memory leak,
| Steve; that'll probably get fixed in a later build.

I seen that but the line above scares me. You would think that is more important then any other bug!

NO KIDDING. Man... one of my CoD public servers will take over a half gig of RAM on its own if its not restarted every 24 hours.

I run two COD games on one Linux server and I'm running into the same issue of having to restart it everyday myself.
Granted we aren't "suppose" to be using this yet... but what do you do when that's what you have....?

Had to restart ours twice yesterday.
Mind you it was full with 40 people all day, leaking approx 10k/sec

Yeah no kidding we're not supposed to have it ... but ... I would have lost a lot of business if that file wasn't leaked. THANK GOD.
I wonder if that was a plot to appease the linux server admin community?
It does feel so nice looking at the memory utilization after restarting all the CoD servers though, doesn't it? Kind of like when someone has been hitting you over the head with a hammer all day and they finally stop.
