Hey all,

Been using the PRM weapons limiter and I really like the fact that you can prevent the sniper rifle from being dropped. Problem is, especially in TDM, eventually people just start picking up all the full auto weapons and it becomes a spray fest. Is there a way to prevent the dropping of weapons on death but allow the dropping of ammo so people might be able to scavenge ammo if they're on a roll but not be able to pickup a different weapon?

We thought it over, and until we can get the extra time, no. We would, however it doesn't really go towards realism. When we get some free time to mod whatever, we will work on that, but till then, all realism.

Along those same lines, something I'd like to see is the ability to exchange your weapon for a dropped one. In other words, no second weapon. Weapons stay after death, but you cannot carry two primary weapons (the exception being maybe a panzerfaust).

Good point. No second weapon unless it's a sidearm.

That's cool. It was just one of those icing on the cake things. You're right, the most important part is having correct damage, accuracy, rates of fire, movement speed, etc. first.

Why not have the weapon jammed while you are at it? Or better yet, random weapon jams...you know...the good old smoking stove pipe, double feeds...etc. Then they would have to perform S.P.O.R.T.S. on it. Or dud grenades too.

I just wish codfiles.com would get around to checking thier mail so we can enjoy the gaming goodness of PRM 3.0's official release. :?

Poolman you are doing a great job, your work, and that of your team, re-enforces my decision to not work on a realism mod for CoD like I did for MOH. I'm having too much fun just being one of the body bags out there. Great work :!: The word PRM is spreading far and wide and for that we the players are gratefull.

Sorry.
I was merely tossing out an idea that many of our players have talked about.

I was not being critical. If everyone remained silent, the only gameplay options we would have would be that of the software developer.

We had the no-second weapon for a bit in PRM, however, eevrytime the gametype switched to SD or RE, it crahsed, why we don't know :?

i guess it would be more realistic to have only one wepon but every single army gun i believe was issued with a strap U,S any way so wouldnt be hard to toss one on your back BUT would be awsome if you had 2 wepons to have a decreased run speed ay
