Greetings,

I am getting 30-35 FPS on COD2 at 1024 x 768. I can get 60 FPS on 600 x 480 but that resolution is a joke. Disappointed that the video card I paid $225 for one year ago is ready for the scrap heap. My mobo does not have a PCI-Express slot and AGP technology is almost dead so my options are limited. Anyone in the same boat? How's the ATI card handling this game?

thanks - tbag

NVIDIA 6600 GT (128MB) in my AGP slot

Change your ingame settings to use DirectX 7 rather than 9. You'll notice a big increase in FPS.

It's in Options - Graphics - Rendering Method Preference. You should set it to DirectX 7.

Thanks Dog. It totally boosted my frame rates and I can barely tell the difference!!!
