Goodinhigh (http://www.fpsadmin.com/forum/member.php?u=10165) from eliteclanwarfare (http://www.fpsadmin.com/forum/www.eliteclanwarfare.com) has sent along some info on his new A/C for CoD2.
This is Goodie from ECW..
Wanted to let you know that we have completed our anticheat for COD2 and bata well be ready for download later tonight.images/smilies/salute.gif
This is a client side/server side anticheat that WILL stop all cheats.
The only down side is that you must update the cheats as they are released..
It will scan all process, folder, files, dll's and some things we wont talk about :-)
This is Serverwatch that ECW and Enforcer have worked together on.
So Cheaters beware!!
P.s I have set this up to do GLObal Bans. So cheat on one get kicked from all~

Anti cheat is now ready for download at www.eliteclanwarfare.com
I have not had time to make a readme yet..
Please e-mail me if you have troubles.. Or see our fourm post at ECW!
ONE major note!
You must turn off firewalls and bypass routers to run the Serverwatch monitor.
You can forward the port on your router but we dont provide suport for that..
Good luck and report new cheats so we can Update ASAP.
All update will be Weapons and cheat logs for easy updates!
Enjoy.

well we have the linux binnary.
You still need the SW monitor from www.eliteclanwarfare.com
We will release the linux dedicated binnary soon. Still testing.
Also Autoupdate is working!
you will need to do all setting up on windows box. After that you will upload all files to linux box.. then start binnary..
to run.. We do have a Admin client that will connect to remote SW running on your box..
Will make that downloadable very soon!

To be clear, ECW is running Serverwatch Anticheat, it's been around since 2002.
A link to download if you don't want to register on the ECW site: http://serverwatch.daniel-rudolph.de/wiki/

Yep.....I see alot of places saying that eliteclanwarfare developed SW, which to my knowledge is not true.
Enforcer put alot of hard work into SW and should be getting credit where credit is due.
We've been beta testers for Enforcer and his SW since MOHAA. If you check his main page we're even listed in the credits. ;)
BTW....nice sig there Woody

Let me clarify!
Enforcer and I are working together on COD2 anti cheat.
Enforcer made SW years ago. Im also the one that tested SW for spearhead/Mohaa back then. I was also the Linux tester.
Enforcer was very clear that he was not going to code the needed things for COD2 and I told him I would do it.
At no time did we take credit for the tool. However we will take credit for the creating a file detetion setup for Serverwatch and a Config for it.
If you look at all my post and even our download links you will see Enforcers name is every where.
Like I said, Enforcer and I are working together. He is a very busy man and didnt have the time to do it.
Yes you can follow the link and download it right from Serverwatch/ However Im not sure he added our codes to the download yet. He has all the files but not sure he added them yet.
Enforcer and I have agreed that ECW can realease the tool. We also are working together on the auto update parts.
So I thought I would just let you know how it has come to be.
ECW has pushed this tool and coded the needed parts for COD2. Enforcer created the tool.
EliteClanWarfare respects the work of coders and wouldn't ever change the credit lines! Thats why the are the way they are.
It's ECW stand that you wouldnt be using the pre-coded files with out or work.
BoSBrian I hope that helped you out. Like our Rcon tool, I cant tell you how many people have clamed it for themselfs. We dont play that game!

Thanks for clarifying Goodinhigh, i *did* see enforcer's name in one of your release announcements, but it was a one liner which is what prompted my post.
I went searching for you in the ServerWatch forums, figuring you'd be active there and didn't see an account with the same name.
I also disagree with your "registration required to download" policy and knowing i could obtain the files from Enforcer's website (without registration) it prompted me to post on both issues. We can agree to disagree on the "registration required" thing, i'll get over it.
BoSBrian has a right to be territorial, when i registered on the ServerWatch forums (two days ago) i noticed he had nearly 200 posts. He's obviously run the software before.
Anyway, once again, thanks for clairification and for the work you're doing with Enforcer. :salute:

Hi,
Goodinhigh really messed up the communication a little if you ask me.
I have to agree in this. I dont get nervous that easy, and try to hit everybody that said something which could be miss understood.
What eliteclanwarfare.com did is creating a file detetion setup for Serverwatch and a Config for it. If this is something you can name coding or not everybody have to decide for himself.
Im not mad or bad at Goodinhigh - the things will clearup again sooner or later i think.
All ServerWatch Development what is related to program something that get visible in the binarys is still something i have to do - what also bring up the reason right in front why it sometimes take some time until there is a new version ;-)
Goodinhigh - maybe you really think again about the way of communication you did with the community ;-) If you some really old fashioned guy you can really get the idea you want to take the credit for the tool - which also have cons not always pros - for sure if there are bugs so think about it hehe.
General notice:
As you can maybe imagine there was some waves left and right after the "announcement" of eliteclanwarfare. ServerWatch was COD2 ready before but just simply nobody did a setup or know about it ;-) rudedog should know as I send him a PM a week ago or something.
Short:
I think and hope this is simply a wrong way of communication eliteclanwarfare had somehow and this is nothing they did intentionally. If they did i would have to "take some countermeasures" but i dont think that’ necessary as i already said.
Thx MajorWoody and BoSBrian
Also Thx Goodinhigh
PS: and yes i will answer again on the ServerWatch Forum and MSN - to look at some effects in detail - if not today then tomorrow

I take full responsibility for not getting that up on the front page after receiving your last reply.
Enforcer had sent me a PM regarding SW but I wanted some clarification on making this news public (I replied on Nov 22nd regarding clarification, so his first PM was a day or two earlier)
After that , it got lost in my ever growing PM box, which I have to empty every other day, because of the PM size restrictions.
You would think the admin of the forums would increase our PM bo....oh I'm that guy and will do this ASAP
Again very sorry for not getting this out on time!:o
