Skull and Crossbones after you die???

Hey guys, I applogize in advance if this has been asked before, but a search turned up 0 results.

Anyway, while playing in MP, and one of your teammates dies, a grey, what looks like a skull and crossbones comes up showing you where they died. My question is:

Is there any way do disable this. I've looked through the dvars, configs, and I can't find anything that looks like it has anything to do w/ that particular aspect of the game. Anybody have any idea how to turn those off.

As far as I know it is part of the game and cannot be turned off.

set scr_deathicon "0" in your server config file
