We have ours set at 3 and its pretty decent. You can understand people and most chatter. However I still wouldn't use it over TS or Ventrillo. Here is a general guide:

CVAR Quality

set sv_voiceQuality "1" Very bad
set sv_voiceQuality "2" Bad
set sv_voiceQuality "3" Medium
set sv_voiceQuality "4" Good
set sv_voiceQuality "5" Crystal-Clear! (Best)

2-3 Is best for acceptable quality and low bandwith useage. 5 will eat into your bandwith. Hope this helps.

Well tank you for the info. I will change the setting and try them again.

sv_voiceQuality actually goes all the way to 9. But I do agree that 5 is enough.. :)
