Rcon Pass !

Hi guyz
Vcod we could just put our pass is config_mp ie "seta rcon_password "pass"
Does cod 2 not handle this any more ?
I no theres ways around from the shortcut etc & Ase to0 prolly just would be so much easier from config .

In your config file you would just create an entry:

set rcon_password "PASSWORDHERE"


Enter your chosen password inside the quotes where it says PASSWORDHERE..

He probably did that already and couldn't log in.

The rcon login has changed a little.
It is NOT "/rconpassword password" anymore
The new command is
/rcon login password
/rcon status

You can add it to your shortcut by adding + rcon login to the target line.

Do you change your config file to read set rcon login {name}
I cannot login with password and need to know correct info for config file and rcon. Been trying for hours. Butch

No I figuered it out.

2 Servers
2 Differant passwords
Helps to use the correct password for correct Server!!
