Anyone try Rcon4CoD or Autokick on their server yet. I want RudeDog's message center, but I will be patient and wait for for it. But in the meantime I want some sort of messages running.

Yes, Rudedog's message center for CoD2 would be great.
From what I've gathered, the servers ignore files with _svr_ in the name and still require the clients to download server-side only modifications, so downloads would have to be enabled and clients would have to download any mods to connect. If this is true, hopefully it will be resolved in the first patch (along with the introduction to CoD2 of http redirects).
All of my servers are currently stock and will remain so until these issues are resolved :(

Tried Autokick already with no luck. It gives a parse error, then closes.

Seems like they wanted to rush it to market and add the missing features that we are used to from CoD and UO through patches at a later date. :(

We have auto kick running on our servers and it works fine. Was giving messages and kicking the high pingers just fine.

I tried to run AutoKick on the server but even like on UO i get the same Parse Error. Now to try Rcon4COD.

rcon doesnt actually work, yes you can connect to your server but when trying to populate anything you will get loads of errors im afraid. shame its such a great program.
I believe that the dev's site is down now aswell or has it moved?

I was only using Rcon4COD for the messages, which worked fin as well as player stats and kicking remotely. I dont use it much any more thanks to RudeDog and the message mod he put out.
But now I want to limit the number of specific weapons, <cough>Snipers to around 1 or 2 per team. Any ideas?
